Carry You Home

Carry You Home

In this world which is currently a huge platform of battlefield, nearly everything is about competition; in education, in the working field, in politics, economy, sports and even in our love lives. The struggle to survive isn't the only battle out there.

The current era whereby we humans have adopted a very sophisticated lifestyle has transformed our previous agendas to raise something which seemed petty back then to a huge issue these days such as the need to be successful. It has no longer become a want but rather it is a need. Whether we like it or not, competition involves nearly every stage of our lives. How we fair in it mostly depend on us and on our surroundings.

However, in almost every war, some of us might be shot and can no longer stand on our own. Despite how independent or individualistic the society might drive us these days, considering who is willing to carry our burden with him/her when we are hit is worth the thought.

It might sound cliched, but its certainly worth pondering : Who will carry you back home, not back to a house physically but to a home where you belong, where you can carry on being yourself, a place of comfort knowing that the people around you will not leave you behind no matter what when you are wounded in a war? Cause in this new war where a lot of people are individualistic, you either stand alone in the middle of the battle field or you go against the enemies with high spirits and a purpose, to win this war not individually but wining it together with those around you who represent similar aims and ideologies. The true nature of men are tested in the most dire situations. Would you still consider those who leave you behind as friends?
